Dear Members and Friends of the Roxbury Arts Alliance,
We hope you and your family and friends are staying safe and healthy. This has been a trying time for everyone and we wanted to reach out to give you a few updates of what is happening with the Arts Alliance and the Investors Bank Theater events.
Our annual meeting was postponed and the current Board of Trustees will remain heading the organization until such time as we are able to conduct a public meeting. We will keep you informed when we reschedule.
We cancelled our May performances due to Covid-19. Both shows, The Comedy Show on May 16th and Charlie Zahm (John Denver and other country) tribute on May 29th, will be rescheduled in the future. If you purchased tickets, you will receive a refund shortly.
Our Summer Concert Series is Scheduled as Follows:
- July 16th, 7 PM - Due South
- July 23rd, 7 PM - Hoi Polloi
- July 30th, 7 PM - BD Lenz
- August 6th, 7 PM - Naughty Humphrey
Please know that we are following the direction of Roxbury township as they work through this difficult situation. Our hope and plan is that these 4 Thursday evening shows can be held outdoors at the Band Shell where we hope everyone continues to practice social distancing. In the event of inclement weather, the shows will NOT be moved into the theater this year, as we have in the past, because of the difficulty to keep social distancing indoors, but instead, will be postponed till a later date when we are allowed to be seated indoors.
