An Update from bergenPAC CEO

An Update From Our CEO

Dear Friends of bergenPAC,

I hope this finds you safe and healthy as we get ready to welcome May. They say hope springs eternal, and I know I look forward to the warmer weather and sunshine that is surely on the way.

Everyone staying home as much as we can this past month has been so important. While we are not in the clear yet, it is encouraging to see New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo starting to discuss how they may eventually reopen the region.

In the meantime, we are so pleased with how well The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC’s online learning program has been. Our professional teaching artists have been able to seamlessly continue training students of all ages in dance, theater and music.

If you have children, we would love to have them join us. Several of our programs were already in session when we switched to virtual classrooms, including ballet, tap and breakdancing, as well as improv and musical theater. We are now expanding our curriculum for the coming months ahead so there are even more options for kids to enjoy and learn from while being at home.

Studying performing arts has been shown to be a great way to develop creativity and self-confidence while also building discipline. You can learn more about the available classes and scholarship opportunities at bergenpac.org/onlineclasses.

As always, I hope you are all staying well—and safe at home—as we look forward to having you back in bergenPAC for some great entertainment when the time is right.

Sincerely,

Dominic Roncace

bergenPAC President & CEO
