West Orange Public Library Offers Virtual Programs April 2020

Home

Dear West Orange Public Library Family,

I hope that you are all doing well and staying safe at home. West Orange Public Library is committed to serving all your virtual library needs through these difficult times. See below for upcoming and ongoing virtual events from the library.

Recently, the library made our e-book and e-audio holdings available to all West Orange Public School students. If you know of any West Orange residents who do not have library cards, please send them to our website www.wopl.org. They can click the link “apply for a library e-card online” to gain access to all of our free digital content which we are expanding daily or they can email woracirc@bccls.org and staff will work with them to obtain a library card. If you have any questions, need assistance with digital content, or cannot find what you are looking for, please don’t hesitate to email ref@westorangelibrary.org. A staff member will reply.

Last, but not least, we are happy to announce that on April 14th the West Orange Township Council unanimously voted to approve funding to build a new library on Executive Drive. This funding is necessary for matching funds for our Library Construction Bond Act Grant application. The best part is that this project will be completed at no new costs to West Orange thanks to innovative partnerships developed by the great team over at town hall. We are very thankful to have a township that is committed to working with us to bring you the best library possible. We look forward to sharing more details with you in the future.

Together, we will all make it through this, and West Orange will come out of these difficult times stronger and better than ever!

Sincerely,

David Cubie, Director, West Orange Public Library
