Millburn Township Coloring Book

The MHS AP Art Department has created a coloring book for the Millburn community. All are invited to download the coloring book, color the drawings and share them on social media using the hashtag #ColorMillburn.

Join us for a round-robin virtual book discussion. Come prepared to tell us what you’re reading, what it’s about, and why you love (or don’t love) it. If you’re not reading anything right now, listen in and maybe you’ll discover your next great read!

Parenting in the Time of COVID-19

Join us for a virtual parent gathering featuring therapist and educator Nancy Kislin.

Nancy will help you break through your child’s emotional lockdown:

  • self-care strategies
  • tips to help your child learn healthy coping skills
  • techniques to lower anxiety – yours and theirs

Nancy Kislin, LCSW, MFT, is a nationally recognized child, adolescent and family psychotherapist, author and speaker who is a leading expert on raising resilient and healthy children. She was recently featured on CNN and Jersey Matters, speaking on how to help parents talk to their children in the age of the coronavirus.

  • What did you like best/least about the movie? Why?
  • Who was your (least) favorite character in the movie? Why?
  • What were your first thoughts after you finished watching the film?
  • Would you recommend this movie to a friend? Explain your reasons.
  • If you had a chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what would it be
  • Was there something you didn’t understand about the film? What was that?

Saturdays at 9:00am

Heartfulness Meditation Program offers a simple set of relaxation and meditation exercises, which when practiced daily, help restore balance in life, manage stress, better your health, and most of all will lead you to inner calm and peace. The program will be conducted by certified Heartfulness trainers, who have been meditating and training for several years.

Virtual Move and Groove with Miss Jolie

Hey kids, the 30 Day LEGO Challenge is going full force for the month of April. While home, why not build with your LEGOs and see what you can create! See the daily calendar for upcoming challenges. Dork Diaries podcast

Starting Monday, April 27, fans can listen to a free podcast version of Rachel Renee Russel's first Dork Diaries book. Produced in partnership with Simon & Schuster Audio, the multi-voiced production complete with music and sound effects will unfold in 15 episodes, every Monday and Friday.

"It has been so much fun seeing Dork Diaries re-invented as a podcast! I am especially excited to share this with kids now, when we are all home and looking for ways to have fun and laugh while staying safe," said Russel. "I'm thrilled to introduce Nikki and her wacky world to new readers through this podcast, and I hope existing Dork Diaries fans will fall in love with her all over again.
