HAM Offers Free Classes for Essential Workers + Their Children

In these days of adjusting to our "new normal," we'd like to recognize and show gratitude toward those who continue to show up for work every day to take care of things while we are home: healthcare employees, postal workers, grocery workers, delivery drivers, law enforcement and first responders, and journalists, among many others.

To show our gratitude, the Hunterdon Art Museum is offering FREE virtual classes for essential workers and their children. It is our hope that these classes will provide much-needed pleasure and enjoyment during these stressful times.

If you are an essential worker and would like to enroll in one of our online courses free of charge for yourself or your child, please contact Joan Gavornik at Joan@hunterdonartmuseum.org.

Please note space is limited in each class and this will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. We will do our best to accommodate those who wish to participate in this opportunity.

We've added new classes for adults and kids/teens of all skill levels! Classes in painting and drawing, poetry, art journaling, comics, manga, and animé, clay, and many more.

We've also introduced Private Lessons for those looking for more personalized instruction.

Digital Gift Cards

We now have digital gift cards! They make great birthday and holiday gifts, and can be put towards classes or workshops, summer camps, admission to the museum, and even memberships!

In addition to inspiring people with our classes, we spark imaginations with world-class art installed on our terrace and in our galleries. We offer yoga sessions where you experience serenity, we maintain the beautiful stone mill that deepens your ties with the past, and we provide a gathering place for your family and friends on the Toshiko Takaezu Terrace.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation so that we may continue being a place that engages people with contemporary art, craft, and design in ways that educate, challenge, and inspire.  Donate Now
