Bernard is planning a romantic weekend with his chic Parisian mistress in his charming converted French farmhouse, whilst his wife, Jacqueline, is away. He has arranged for a cordon bleu cook to prepare gourmet delights, and has invited his best friend, Robert, along too to provide the alibi. It's foolproof; what could possibly go wrong?

Director Todd R. Bennington is seeking the following:
3 Adult Males Ages 20s to 40s
3 Adult Females Ages 20s to 40s

Special Notes for Auditioners:

Readings will be from the script. All actors must be comfortable with physical comedy. French accents will be used for some characters.

Jacqueline's husband. A handsome smart businessman. He is flirtatious, dapper, and self-assured.

Robert

30's - 40's

Bernard's best friend and Jacqueline's lover. He is handsome, reserved, but a bit of a scoundrel. He has learned his ways from Bernard. But, he is an overall nice guy.

Jacqueline

30's - 40's

Bernard's wife and Robert's lover. She is lovely, assertive, romantic, and intelligent. She is a beautiful modern woman.

Suzette

20's - 40's

She is the hired cook. She's friendly, working-class, and funny. She has a great figure and can be compared to the swan beneath the duckling exterior. She has a French accent.

Suzanne

30's - 40's

She is Bernard's mistress. She is a fashion model with a killer body. She is chic and stylish, yet she is easily flustered. She has a French accent.

George

20's - 40's

He is Suzette's husband. He is a big and strong. He is very protective of Suzette. He has a French accent.
