Raritan Valley Community College is closely monitoring the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) and is consulting with the Branchburg Department of Health for guidance. The College has plans in place to respond quickly to any changes. Out of an abundance of caution, the Planetarium and Observatory will be closed for the rest of March for school and public programs. At this time, the office is open. We look forward to continuing to be your field trip destination and astronomy experts in New Jersey.  RVCC Food Pantry and Resource Center
Did you know that food insecurity is significant on RVCC's campus? To combat this issue, RVCC's Food Pantry and Resource Center offers quick snacks and beverages to students that do not have access to their own food supply. The Food Pantry currently serves, on average, about 300 students and staff members every month, and these numbers are expected to grow rapidly. So how can you help? The Resource Center and Food Pantry rely heavily on donations! Here is a list of items they would be grateful for: paper bowls, plastic cups & utensils, Ziplock bags (sandwich/gallon size), cookies (Chips Ahoy, Oreo, etc.), fruit snacks, cracker packs, Goldfish, chips, Cup O'Noodles (all flavors), granola bars, Gatorade/Powerade, juice/Capri Sun, bottled water, baby diapers (all sizes), feminine hygiene products, ShopRite gift cards, gas station gift cards, etc. (Please make sure that items are not expired.) We would be most appreciative if you would bring one (or more) items on this wish list during you next visit to the Planetarium. There will be marked drop-off bins located in the Planetarium lobby for all donations. Thank you so much for your generosity! We look forward to seeing you at the show.
