MAPLE SUGARING DEMONSTRATIONS

The trees are tapped, and the firewood is chopped—it’s maple sugaring season at the Great Swamp OEC! Experience the fascinating process of maple sugaring from tree to pancake topping. Watch as staff identifies and taps maple trees and collects sap, if conditions are right, and make syrup over a wood-fired evaporator. Get Cookin’!
