February events at new Madison Arts Center

Eric Hafen, Director of Arts and Events, announces the upcoming performances at the new Madison Community Arts Center in the month of February. “Celebrating Valentine’s Day and President’s Day,” said Hafen.


All You Need Is Love

The month starts with a special cabaret fundraiser produced by Stone Boies Productions in conjunction with the Madison Arts and Culture Alliance. The event will feature Broadway star Marni Raab from Phantom of the Opera, Tom Sellwood from Showboat and other actors, singers and comedians. The evening will conclude with a “monologue slam.” A limited number of guests will be invited to perform a one-minute monologue competing for a cash prize. Proceeds from this concert support Rainbow Montessori School and the Madison Community Arts Center.

American pianist, Thomas Pandolfi an exciting virtuoso who, with each passing season, is becoming more and more sought after by audiences worldwide, and showered with superlatives by critics for his passionate artistry and amazing technique. The Julliard graduate returns to the area, making his debut in the intimate setting of the new Madison Community Arts Center, playing on our Steinway with its uncompromising expressions.


Impresa RIO: For Love and Country

The Bishop of Jazz, Rio Clemente and his Abbots will perform a salute to both Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day on  Joining Rio will be Gene Perla, Flip Peters and Vern Mobley.
