Women in Art: An Exploration of Mia Brownell with Zena Tredinnick-Kirby

Join Us!

Join us for  an exciting new program that combines a lecture, discussion and art-creating project.

Participants will explore the work of Mia Brownell, currently featured with Martin Kruck in our current exhibition Skeptical Realism. Participants can either attend only the lecture or take part in the entire program and leave with a painting inspired by Brownell's stylistic still-life paintings.

Tredinnick-Kirby earned her Master’s Degree from Pennsylvania State University in art education, her Bachelor’s from The College of New Jersey in art education and art history, and is a Ph.D. candidate in art history at Penn State. She taught advanced placement art history and advanced placement photography at North Hunterdon High School for 10 years.

Reiki Workshop for Kids

WHEN: Sunday, Dec. 15, at noon
WHERE: Hunterdon Art Museum, 7 Lower Center St., Clinton
TUITION:  $30.

Yoga at the Museum will offer a special Reiki For Kids Workshop with Reiki Master Marci Tanelli.

This workshop, for ages 5 to 10 years old, encourages children to get in touch with subtle energy and learn simple methods of using Reiki to improve the energy fields of themselves and others. They will learn about Reiki through art and creative expression, mindful poses and a guided meditation.
