Live Jazz - Art Workshop - Luminary Parade - Pumpkin Illumination
Join Morris Arts for an evening of fun for all ages! Starting at 5:00 pm.

WHERE: in front of the Vail Mansion in Morristown
5:00 p.m. – Bring your carved pumpkin to the reflecting pond in front of the Vail Mansion in Morristown. Enjoy live jazz by The Lintet!
The Lintet is led by Taiwanese-American trombonist Peter Lin, a creative musician active on the New Jersey and New York scene. Peter has performed with many notable artists (Slide Hampton, Winard Harper, Charli Persip, Valerie Ponomarev, Frank Lacy, JD Allen, & Radam Schwartz) and is an established educator, on the faculty at Melissa Walker & Christian McBride’s non-profit organization, Jazz House Kids. He is also the co-founder of the jazz entertainment company, Yardbird Entertainment, which provides quality jazz music to the tri-state area. The band’s repertoire includes popular jazz standards, soul classics, exciting originals, and even special renditions of Taiwanese folk songs.
5:30 – 6:15 p.m. – Workshop with artist Dan Fenelon followed by a luminary parade led by Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty.
Dan Fenelon works with communities to create one of a kind original art projects. In keeping with the “Halloween” theme, there will be creatures and masks to decorate culminating in a parade before the pumpkins are illuminated.
6:15 p.m. – Pumpkin Illumination! Lighting of the pumpkins
