Faces of Genius: Jewish Nobel Prize Laureates in Science and Medicine
The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents Faces of Genius: Jewish Nobel Prize Laureates in Science and Medicine, a PowerPoint presentation which includes Arthur Ashkin, the 2018 Nobel Prize Winner in Physics.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at 1 P.M. Light refreshments will be served before the talk beginning at 12:30 P.M.
WHERE: Jewish Community Center (JCC) Jersey Shore, 100 Grant Avenue, Deal ADMISSION: free (donations welcome). Prior registration is required by Thursday, May 23, 2019.
Jews number less than 0.2% of the world’s population yet comprise 22% of
all Nobel Prize winners. Faces of Genius is a PowerPoint slide show celebrating ten of these brilliant Jewish American Nobel Laureates. This talk, originally
produced in 2015, has been revised to include information on Dr. Ashkin.
He and his wife, Aline, are long-time residents of Rumson and members of
the Jewish Heritage Museum.
