New Directions in Fiber Art, a dynamic exhibition from the Montclair Art Museum (MAM) opens to the public on Saturday, February 9. This highly anticipated exhibition features 42 New Jersey-based artists and more than 50 stunning works of contemporary art. The works, which are all constructed out of some form of fiber, draw inspiration from science, technology, politics, pop-culture, and traditional fiber art techniques.
