Stoke Your Creativity with a HAM Winter Class

Come in from the cold and fire up your imagination with an adult art class this winter at the Museum. All our classes and workshops are taught by professional artists, educators or storytellers. You'll learn in a fun and relaxed atmosphere that will encourage you to explore your talents and learn new skills.

Intro to Watercolor: Methods and Materials with Wendy Hallstrom
WHEN: Starts Monday, Jan. 7, at 10 a.m.
WHERE:
Hunterdon Art Museum, 7 Lower Center St., Clinton

Build confidence and your own style in this class that covers essential watercolor skills including washes, edges, dry brush and wet-into-wet. For adults and teens, ages 16 and up. Join Us!

WHEN: starts Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m.

Pick your favorite medium and set aside your Tuesday evenings to build your drawing and painting skills. In this relaxed, intimate class, beginning and intermediate students are encouraged to work at their own pace with guidance from the instructor on a variety of subjects including still lifes and photographs. Fundamentals of Painting with Oscar Peterson
WHEN: starts Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 9:30 a.m.

In this class that's ideal for beginner or intermediate students, you'll learn to create realistic images through the fundamental principles of capturing light, planes, structure and proportion. Then, you'll practice painting from observation and acquire the skills to start, establish and finish a painting. For adults and teens, ages 16 and up. Join Us!

Figure Sculpting for Beginners with Oscar Peterson
WHEN: starts Friday, Jan. 25, at 9:30 a.m.

This class is designed to give the beginning sculpting enthusiast an introduction to clay sculpture. Focusing on tools, volume, anatomy, and proportion, you'll get a better understanding of the sculpting process. For adults and teens, ages 18 and up. Join Us!
