Somerset Valley Players Open 52nd Season With “Biloxi Blues”

WHEN: opens on Friday, January 25, and runs weekends through February 10.  Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8 p.m.  Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m.

Directed by Todd R. Bennington, Biloxi Blues, by Neil Simon, is a comedic memoir of Simon’s own service in the US Army during World War II.  The play centers on five mismatched Army recruits and their experiences in basic training in Biloxi, MS.

Biloxi Blues is produced by Dominick and Karen Abbatiello and the stage manager is Holly Lessing.  The show is sponsored in honor and loving memory of World War II veterans Henry E. Bennington and Ralph N. DeMarco.
