Sylvia is as driving, swinging and crisp a percussionist as you will find anywhere--evidenced by her stellar resume. She traveled and performed extensively with trumpet legend Clark Terry as part of his quintet and she has played/toured with many jazz luminaries including Jimmy Heath, Marian McPartland, Jon Faddis, Kenny Barron, Hilton Ruiz, Dave Valentin, Michael Brecker, Regina Carter, Dr. Billy Taylor, Houston Person, Mulgrew Miller, Dianne Reeves & Joshua Redman.

Mariel Bildsten is a trombonist and teacher, based in NYC. She currently works as a side-woman and has performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Smalls, Minton's, Carnegie Hall, Swing 46, & many other venues. Mariel has also played with Wycliffe Gordon, Brian Lynch, Cyrus Chestnut, Lew Soloff, Jerry Dodgion, and Frank Lacy. In addition, Mariel is a teaching artist at Upbeat NYC, a non-profit organization in South Bronx dedicated to uplifting young people through orchestral music.
While studying classical piano at the Janacek Conservatory in the Czech Republic, Swedish born Emma sat in with the group on one of their gigs and never looked back. Daisuke Abe has been a highly sought after guitarist since his arrival in NYC in 2002. Abe started playing guitar at age 15 in his hometown of Tokyo, Japan. He attended Senzoku Gakuen College in Yokohama and graduated at the top of his class. He then attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Abe has performed at Blue Note, Dizzy's, Smalls Jazz Club and Cleopatras' Needle & many others.
