In advance of Two River Theater’s production of Journey to Oz: A Wizard of Oz Story, we invite you to join us for a special family-friendly film screening of The Wizard of Oz, the beloved 1939 classic film. Judy Garland stars as Dorothy, a farm girl from Kansas who journeys over the rainbow with her dog, Toto. Together with the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, they follow the yellow brick road to the Land of Oz, seeking the Wizard who can help her return to Kansas! Based on the novel by L. Frank Baum, this film has inspired generations of dreamers, reminding them there's no place like home.

About the Show

Nov 23–25

Oz like you’ve never seen it before. Experience the story you know and love—plus so much more—unfold on stage. A giant library will transport us to Kansas, Munchkin Land, Emerald City, and other magical locations inspired by L. Frank Baum’s life and series of Oz books. Along the way, you will meet the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion! Interested kids and their adults can join the professional cast in this interactive production. Participation is optional, but at each show, audience members will take on key roles like Munchkins, flying monkeys, and Dorothy herself. Take a Journey to Oz with your entire family! Surprises are around every turn, even if you know every inch of this story!
