Lawn Sign Event

For Freedoms

WHEN: Through Monday, October 1 

Visit Voorhees Mall by October 1 to view hundreds of lawn signs with declarations
of what freedom means to individuals on campus and throughout the community.

Performance

Salon Concert "Impressions"

WHEN: Sunday, October 7 / 2pm


The New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra (NBCO) kicks off the latest Salon Series with a program for string quartet inspired by 19th-century Impressionist art. The Salon Series includes complimentary wine and cheese, conversation, and insightful comments by the NBCO’s Artistic Director Mark Hyczko.

Drop-in Art-Making

Art Together 

WHEN: Sunday, October 7 / 1 - 3pm 

Children and parents, grandparents, or guardians work side-by-side on arts and crafts projects during Art Together. Each session includes a brief, instructor-led tour through one of our galleries. The interactive workshops, led by Mason Gross MFA students and teaching artists, allow families quality time to be creative together. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)

Reception and Performance

Self-Confessed! 

WHEN: Saturday, October 13 / 5 to 7pm 

This members-only evening includes a private viewing of the exhibition, Self-Confessed! The Inappropriately Intimate Comics of Alison Bechdel and features a special performance of selections from the award-winning Broadway musical Fun Home, based on Bechdel’s graphic memoir.
