Art for Two and Tea Party Workshops Start in September

Don't miss these upcoming family workshops at the Hunterdon Art Museum:

Mary Cassatt Tea Party (NEW!) American modern artist Mary Cassatt is best known for her paintings of parents and children, but did you know that she was also a prolific printmaker? Inspired by the 1890 great exhibition of Japanese art, Cassatt dived into printmaking, eventually concluding that it is the perfect medium for learning to draw, while also bringing in elements of painting.

Join us on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. for a workshop where kids can follow her path by experimenting with several printmaking techniques and stamp-making. Students will all get their own teacup and saucer to print upon and take home, and class will end with a “tea” party of pink lemonade and nut-free cookies! For ages 7 and up. Join Us!
