Join us in downtown Westfield's Quimby Street, as NJFO delivers irresistible big band rhythms and blistering hits from the great American songbook!
“From Glen Miller and Benny Goodman classics to standards from the Golden Age of Broadway, it’s going to be all about quintessential American music that we all know and love,” said NJFO Music Director David Wroe.
NJFO will be joined by Broadway vocalists, Marissa McGowan (A Little Night Music, Les Miserables) and Michael Mendez (Chaplin, Frozen) presenting sizzling numbers from Guys and Dolls and other Broadway favorites.
Quimby Street will be closed for this special performance, a part of Westfield’s Sweet Sounds Downtown Jazz Festival that takes place on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer.
"This is a great opportunity for our musicians and guest soloists to do something a little different, meet new people and bring the orchestra to the streets of Westfield," continued Wroe.
