New at the Princeton University Art Museum

Art on Screen
Summer Film Series

Bring your blanket, we’ll provide the popcorn during our annual series of films under the stars. This summer’s series presents films inspired by the transformation of literary sources in unexpected ways, as seen in the exhibition Frank Stella Unbound: Literature and Printmaking. All films begin at sundown. In the event of rain, films will be shown at 8 p.m. in 101 McCormick Hall.

Celebrate summer and the special exhibition Frank Stella Unbound at our annual picnic on the lawn. Enjoy barbecue fare, live music, exhibition tours, and family-friendly activities. Stay until sunset for the last of our summer film screenings, The Lion King. Cosponsored by the Princeton YMCA.

Dive deeper into two of the Art Museum’s special exhibitions with a docent-led tour, offered free of charge. Tours meet at the entrance to the Museum. This week, Museum docent Jeanne Johnson will discuss Frank Stella Unbound: Literature and Printmaking and Picturing Protest.
