Foolproof Painting: Using Color Theory & Principles of Pictorial Design
WHEN: July 8, 10:30 a.m.– 3:30 p.m.
This one-day workshop offers an analytical approach to color and design to help you develop as a painter. MORE
The Postcard As Art
WHEN: July 15, 10:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.
Each participant will create a number of postcards using simple relief printing, transferred imagery, stencils, and hand carved rubber stamps. MORE
Wearable Art Workshop: Native American-Inspired Hand Painted T-Shirt
WHEN: July 15, 11 a.m.– 3 p.m.
Learn how to paint a work of art that you can wear! Students will paint a beautiful T-shirt based on Native American works of art. MORE
Handmade Tiles
WHEN: July 15, 12–4 p.m.
Hand-build 4-6 tiles and create one complete composition. Students will learn basic tile-making techniques with creative relief designs. MORE

Submit your work for MAM's Spring 2019 exhibition!
MAM will be exhibiting New Directions in Fiber Art, the New Jersey Arts Annual exhibition highlighting New Jersey’s visual artists sponsored by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. This exhibition is open to any artist currently living or working in New Jersey–and submissions have begun! Submit your application and supporting materials by August 1.
