Written by S.E. Hinton when she was just 16 years old, The Outsiders is a classic coming-of-age story, seen through the eyes of Ponyboy, a Greaser on the wrong side of life who is caught up in territorial battles between the have-it-made rich kids, "The Socs," and his tough, underprivileged family and friends. As these young people try to find themselves and each other, the sadness of sophistication begins to reach them, and change them.

Director Kirk White says “in this era where art is often disposable and most consume their entertainment in tiny blurbs on tiny phones, to see this many incredible young people come and be excited by doing theater is truly an inspiration. I am honored to work with them on this and I hope that I can rise to the occasion.”

This production of The Outsiders is produced by Laurie Devino.
