Madison Summer Youth Theater schedules auditions for “Pippin”

AUDITIONS for performers ages 14 and up

The Madison Recreation Department/Writers Theatre of New Jersey, 2018 Summer Youth Theatre Production of

PIPPIN

WHEN: Wednesday, June 6^th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturday, June 9^th 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
WHERE: offices of Writers Theatre of New Jersey, Madison Civic Center, 28 Walnut Street, Madison 07940.

Please prepare a short song (pop/soul/rock style preferred) accompanist will be provided and have sheet music in proper key. This program is in its tenth year and is offered free to Madison area residents.

PIPPIN was the 2013 Winner of the Tony, Drama League and Drama Desk Awards for Best Revival of a Musical with a book by Roger O. Hirson, music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. The Madison Summer Youth Theater production will be directed and designed by Actors’ Equity union member, Danielle Constance. Madison resident Brian Lang will be vocal music director, with Karen Romero serving as conductor/band leader and James Sullivan, of Madison is technical director.
