Founded in 2004 by directors Beth Baur and Bob Sapoff, the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts in Bloomfield, NJ has provided comprehensive professional acting training for adults, teens and children.  More than 3000 students, some of whom have gone on to pursue professional acting careers, have taken classes at the school since it opened its doors thirteen years ago.

Now celebrating its 14th year in Bloomfield, Baur and Sapoff are very proud that the school has been recognized three years in a row as the gold medal winner in the Best of Essex Readers’ Choice Awards in the category of Best Children’s Enrichment/Instruction.

There is much to celebrate at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts, especially the success of so many students (adults, teens and children) who are working in theater, film and television as actors and directors.

The non-profit acting school takes great pride in offering the best in acting, musical theater, improvisation and TV & film training.  From the beginner to the most advanced, students are placed in classes that match their experience with one on one attention.
