The New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts brings the excitement of their Summer Theatre Camps for Teens and Tweens to the winter holiday break!
NJSDA will be offering intensive workshops in Acting, Musical Theatre and Improv Comedy for three days.
In the Acting Program, through the use of monologues and scene work, students work on gaining and deepening their acting skills. Focus will be on the use of given circumstances, playing objectives, using conflicts and obstacles and identifying the needs of a character.
In the Musical Theatre Workshop, the performance elements of musical theater are examined. Through the use of group numbers, duets or solos and scenes, students work on their vocal skills while learning how to act through a song.
In the Improv Comedy Workshop, you can give your imagination a blast of spontaneity! Learn the basic rules of improvisational comedy and then put them to use playing performance games (similar to "Whose Line Is It Anyway?")

There is much to celebrate at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts, especially the success of so many students (adults, teens and children) who are working in theater, film and television as actors and directors.
The non-profit acting school takes great pride in offering the best in acting, musical theater, improvisation and TV & film training. From the beginner to the most advanced, students are placed in classes that match their experience with one on one attention.
