Photo 1- Crescent Singers in rehearsalThis free concert of anthems and carols is a holiday gift to the community featuring the renowned Crescent Singers.  Making her debut with the Crescent Singers is conductor Dr. Deborah S. King (BELOW, LEFT) who is also the Artistic Director of Crescent Concerts and the Crescent Choral Society.  The Singers will be accompanied by noted pianist and organist, Eric Olsen.

The theme of this year’s concert is “A Rose in Winter” with music by Britten, Rutter, and a host of other composers known for their Christmas anthems.  A special highlight and tradition of this annual candlelit concert is audience participation in singing several of the beloved Christmas carols of the season.

Surrounding communities are encouraged to attend this special concert as the Crescent Singers raise their voices in holiday songs.  Invite your family and friends to join, and let Crescent Concerts wish you a Merry Christmas!

Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church is located on Watchung Avenue at East Seventh Street in Plainfield, New Jersey.  Ample free, secure parking is available.
