Celebrated artist and instructor Anne Kullaf has curated the upcoming member exhibition at the Visual Arts Center as part of her course “Preparing for an Exhibition: Are you Ready?” Show me What You See features the work of seven artists participating in Kullaf’s professional development course that includes instruction in writing an artist statement, preparing promotional material, planning a reception, and discussing work with prospective collectors. "Working with students to develop their own artistic voices is one of the best things about my job,” said Kullaf. “It's exciting when a student reaches a level where they have mastered the basics and gained the confidence that is necessary to become more expressive with their work. It's exciting for me to look at a work they've created, and to understand the unique message they are seeking to convey."

The exhibiting students include:

  • Sally Fica
  • Alexis Joseph
  • Marisa Picardo
  • Sylvia Smith
  • Karene Infranco
  • Alex O’Neill
  • Hope Saladino
