RVCC PLANETARIUM GEARS UP FOR SOLAR ECLIPSE & LAST SUMMER SHOWS

Countdown to the Solar Eclipse

Prepare for the Great American Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017!  Our astronomy shows include a 5-minute presentation about what a solar eclipse is and how to view it safely. New Jersey will see about 75% of the Sun covered by the Moon.
RVCC Planetarium will be hosting a viewing party.

WHEN: August 21st between 1 - 4 p.m.
WHERE: RVCC Planetarium, 118 Lamington Rd., Branchburg

Included will be:

  • Solar viewing telescopes
  • Live streaming of the eclipse
  • Ten-minute presentations on a Solar Eclipse

NASA approved Solar Glasses are on sale here for $2.00 each.
