The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey in Summit is holding an Open House for parents and students interested in Summer Art Camp and for students interested in the upcoming Spring Semester.

For Summer Art Camp, several of the teaching artists will be on hand to share with parents and children the Art Center’s teaching philosophy, designed to bring out children’s talents and creativity. Teachers will showcase some of the projects for summer campers from drawing to printmaking and digital projects and more. Parents and campers are invited to tour the entire Studio School, which encompasses nine working art studios.

In addition, students of all ages will be able to meet new teaching artists for the Spring semester, including faculty from such disciplines as painting, ceramics, sculpture, and fiber. Every instructor present will be ready to answer questions and demonstrate techniques available in offereings this spring and summer.
