Dr. Anne Matlack is organist/choir director at Grace, where Friday Lenten Organ Recitals have been a Madison tradition since the 1950s, founded by her predecessor, Helen E.J. Thomas. There are several exciting guests this year.

  • The first recital March 3 Dr. Matlack gets the series started with organ meditations on Lenten hymns.
  •  March 10 is the annual visit from the music students of Pingry School the Balladeers and Buttondowns, & Upper School String Ensemble performing music by Chilcott and Bach.
  • On March 17 Dr. Matlack will of course follow an Irish theme.
