LUNA STAGE’S “NEW MOON READING SERIES” PRESENTS READING OF A PLAY BY CATHY TEMPELSMAN

The Eleventh Hour
by Cathy Tempelsman

WHEN: Monday, January 9, 7:30 pm
WHERE: Luna Stage, 555 Valley Road, West Orange
ADMISSION: $5 suggested donation at the door. No reservations necessary.

Can we ever talk honestly about the true cost of war if we're never allowed to say that a soldier died in vain?

Based on largely unknown congressional hearings that took place just after World War I, The Eleventh Hour is a political story, a personal story, and a mystery. When a young woman from Boston seeks the truth about her brother's death on the last day of combat, she discovers that war and heroism are more complicated than she imagined.

MAVEN’S NOTE: Several years ago, the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey produced Cathy Tempelsman’s play about George Eliot, A Most Dangerous Woman. If you remember how much you enjoyed that play, you won’t want to miss this reading at Luna Stage!
