BROOKDALE ARTISTS OPEN STUDIO OPENS FALL EXHIBIT @ MONTCLAIR PUBLIC LIBRARY

2016 COLOURS ALIVE

WHEN: September 6th – September 30, 2016, during library hours.   
WHERE: main branch of the Montclair Public Library at 50 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair
ADMISSION: free            

The Fall exhibit features 10 artists with the open studio that are presenting a wide range of subjects including portraits, landscapes, still life, and collage They include Richard Toglia – “Watercolors & Colored Pencil,  Marcy Sabo – Oils on canvas, Luis Gallinat – Oils on canvas, Teri Maxine Bartolo – Oils on Linen, Elenor Meeks- Collage, Rose Galli –Acrylics on canvas,  Joseph Marino – Oils on canvas, Judy Schneyer – Watercolors on Yupo Paper, Del Turgelsky – Collage,  Robyn Burns – Watercolor on paper,  Christopher Knight – Oils on Canvas & Board, MaryJo Caggiano- Abstract.

The award-winning artists all hail from northern New Jersey and have artistic styles that range from surrealist and realist to impressionistic and modern.  This promises to be a show with exciting vivid colours & contrasts with interesting viewpoints both from the artists themselves and for the viewers.

The Brookdale Open Studio meets every Tuesday, 10:30pm – 3:30pm and is in residence at the Brookdale Reformed Church located at 10 Belleville Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The entrance is located next to Brookdale Park and is open to anyone & everyone that is interested in working as an artist in an open space. All mediums and skills are welcome.
