FALL DRAWING CLASSES
Zimmerli Member Registration Now Open

DRAWING CLUB FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
WHEN: Wednesdays / 4:15 to 5:45pm;
Classes begin September 28

Zimmerli Art Museum, 71 Hamilton St., New Brunswick

Children discover the secrets of drawing when they participate in the Zimmerli's Drawing Club. Aspiring artists explore a variety of drawing methods, including pencil and charcoal, while learning about different types of art such as still life and portraiture. Classes are inspired by works in the Zimmerli's exhibitions from a variety of styles and historical periods. The program is led by practicing artists who are also graduate students at Mason Gross School of the Arts. Classes are available for 7-10 and 11-14 year olds. Space is limited to 16 participants for each class.

ZIMMERLI DRAWING SOCIETY FOR ADULTS
WHEN: Saturdays / 12:30 to 2:30pm; Classes begin September 24
WHERE:
Zimmerli Art Museum, 71 Hamilton St., New Brunswick

Each Drawing Society session is overseen by master artists Wes Sherman and Tom Rutledge. The museum provides drawing boards, live models at select sessions, and professional instruction; participants are asked to bring their own drawing pads, portable easels, and other materials suggested by the instructors. These sessions are for artists aged 18 and older. Space is limited to 16 participants. Registered participants receive a class schedule and supply list early in September.

Collaboration with Mason Gross Extension Division
ART-HAUS ACADEMY

The Zimmerli has partnered with Mason Gross Extension Division to provide an expanded selection of art-making classes. ART-haus Academy offers basic art courses that inspire creative evolutions. Each course focuses on specific skills and ideas that interweave in a mosaic of insights.
