Members of the Garden Street Children's Musical Theater Company aged 7-15 have been rehearsing the production under the direction of Broadway star Anne Brummel whose credits include WICKED, Evita, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and Funny Girl. Music Director Neal Tracy and choreographer Michael Williams (WICKED, On The Town) round out the creative team. The role of Jack will be played by Finn Douglas (House of Cards, Season 4 and 5). Anne Brummel who played Elphaba in the Broadway show Wicked, is excited for the community to see to see this amazing show. "This is an unbelievably talented group. I am excited for the Hoboken community to see what they can do. As a performer, being given the moment to shine on a Broadway stage was the best pay off ever for all the hard work I've put in throughout my career. These kids have worked extremely hard, and they will most certainly shine!" "This is the second year Anne Brummel has returned to be part of the Garden Street Family. Our students have recently won top awards at the prestigious Access Broadway Talent Competition and we will compete at Nationals in July. Our audiences will definitely feel the Broadway influence up on the stage."
