Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd is a beautifully crafted thriller of a musical that won 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical. It is the story of an unjustly exiled barber in London who seeks vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife.
