BICKFORD THEATRE ANNOUNCES CASTING FOR SPRING PLAY BY LOCAL PLAYWRIGHT

This world premiere stars longtime Broadway favorite Loni Ackerman (Sylvia Fenster). The cast also includes Laura Ekstrand (Arlene Abrams), Stephanie Windland (Robin Abrams), Gary Littman (Danny Abrams), Scott McGowan (Heshy Mankowitz), Ethan Berman (Marco Lopez), and introducing Paris Mercurio as Holly Abrams.

The Bickford Theatre is an integral part of the Morris Museum, located at 6 Normandy Heights Road in Morristown, NJ, and offers free parking and full accessibility. Box Office hours for phone sales are Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm. Walk-up hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11:00am to 5:00pm

It’s the summer of 1969 – Man on the moon, Woodstock, mini-skirts and Motown and in the Bronx, and boy is it hot! Change is everywhere for thirteen year old Holly Abrams. Gramma Sylvia rules the roost, older sis Robin rebels in bell-bottoms and Mom and Dad may split up for good. Will Holly get her first kiss from Marco Lopez? Amid the quickly changing Bronx’s cultural and social landscape, witness the struggles, hopes and dreams of the Abrams family in this warm-spirited comedy about family.

About The Bickford Theatre
The Bickford Theatre is a professional theater that produces and presents year-round entertainment, including a Main Stage Series, two Children’s Theatre series, a Jazz Showcase, and other concerts. The theatre is a Senior Member of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, a not-for-profit organization of 30 professional theaters throughout the state, and works in conjunction with Actors' Equity Association (AEA) and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).
