Gifts is comprised of two programs of 14 new works (several of them world premiers) from the minds of 11 playwrights hailing from L.A., Chicago, Pittsburgh, New York, London, and Monmouth & Ocean Counties.

"We wanted to start the year off by sharing the last bits of holiday wonder with our audiences... pieces that are touching, insightful, and warm... passionate expressions of various 'GIFTS' we give and receive throughout life," offered La Strada's Artistic Director, A.J. Ciccotelli, who plays the role of both writer and director for the festival. "One evening is being called 'Gifts Conjured', while the other is 'Gifts of Rejuvenation'... each evening is a powerful collection of short works that touch on transformative experiences for characters in all walks of life."

La Strada board & company member, producer, acclaimed stage performer, and beloved 106.7 fm morning show personality, Christine Nagy, shared, "The beauty of GIFTS is how each piece touches on such varied perspectives of the human condition... I couldn't be more excited for New Jersey and New York audiences to enjoy these poignant, original plays from the minds of La Strada's writers."
