STAGE COMBAT WORKSHOP! Introduction to Unarmed Stage Combat
(taught by instructors from Swordplay, NYC's longest running stage combat school) This workshop will cover the basic principles of hand-to-hand combat for stage and screen. Students will learn a variety of techniques including grappling, strikes, and the rehearsal and performance of fight sequences while maintaining the safety of themselves and the audience. Taught by Swordplay's highly experienced instructors, this class will give students an introduction the skills of performing of safe and exciting fights.
Students are encouraged to wear sneakers and workout attire. RECOMMENDED FOR 4TH TO 8TH GRADERS
