NJPAC SUPERSIZES THEATERGOING PERKS FOR YOUNG ADULTS WHO LOVE LIVE PERFORMANCE

THE BIG TICKET: YOUR SHOWS. YOUR CROWD. YOUR PRICE

The Big Ticket campaign offers 21- to 35-year-olds big incentives to experience the magic of the performing arts

ENROLLMENT FEE: The enrollment fee for The Big Ticket for the 2015-16 season (now through June 30, 2016) is $50 per person. Subscribers receive a free ticket to each of three performances, chosen by the purchaser from a curated selection of events, including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, MythBusters: Jamie's Farewell Tour, comedian Russell Peters, and many others.

In addition, a $25 "friend" ticket for an adjacent seat to one additional show may be purchased for each of those performances. The Big Ticket also includes a complimentary drink voucher to NJPAC's NICO Kitchen + Bar for each of the three performances; free pizza and happy hour parties on certain performance dates; direct email notifications of early ticket-buying opportunities; easy renewal for the 2016-17 season; and ticket exchange privileges. More exciting performances will be added to The Big Ticket roster as the season progresses. Plans are under way for pre-curtain meet-and-greet receptions with the artist(s) during the pizza and happy hour parties at NICO.

"In today's media-rich landscape, multiple entertainment choices are always competing for our attention. For young people who get their entertainment from mobile devices, computers and big screens, the choices are now limitless," said NJPAC President and CEO John Schreiber. "The Big Ticket makes it easier for them to make the decision to see a unique, exciting and compelling live performance, whether it's music, dance or comedy, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience in a spectacular concert hall, surrounded by a community of fans."

The Big Ticket campaign responds to the programming and leisure preferences of young professionals, while boosting the presence of that demographic in NJPAC audiences. It also builds on the appeal of social gatherings by inviting visitors to meet other like-minded people inside and outside the theater.
