iPlay America in Freehold will transform this October to iPlay America’s Spooky Spooktacular Halloween! All month long, experience a Halloween event like no other in Central NJ. This family friendly event features OVER 50 live show performances by Daydreamer Productions, a Trick or Treat Trail, decorations and Halloween-themed activities for all.

Daydreamer Productions is an award-winning Theatre Company based in Monmouth/Ocean Counties. The three original shows will be under the direction of Nicholas Wainwright, musical direction from Jimmy Mura, and Choreographed by Rachel Sampson—a Perry Award nominated team for their recent 2015 production of World Of Color.

“We have 3 unique productions that are completely original pieces, they are brand new and making their premieres at iPlay America. This will give guests that do not normally get to see theatre exposure to the arts.” Wainwright says.

On Friday nights, guests can experience “The Full Moon After Dark Dance Party,” a high-energy and thrilling theatrical production featuring favorite Halloween songs and a more intense and frightening atmosphere. According to the company, the show will appeal to all audiences, but “beware, you never know what kind of characters are lurking right behind you during the show”, it is full of surprises, gorgeous costumes/make up and impressive choreography by Sampson.

On Saturdays/Sundays, guests will have two different productions they can see. “The Phantom Of The iPlay” is a 15-minute comedy-improv show, featuring the infamous Phantom of iPlay America, as he plays eerie music from his lavish organ, some of his Halloweentown friends try to sabotage his performance! ‘You never know what the show will be—that’s the beauty of improv!” Says Wainwright. “There is no doubt in my mind that this production will be vastly different each time it is performed.”

“Everybody Scream!” is the main stage performance on Saturdays/Sundays. Come meet the Citizens of Halloweentown, as they dive into their annual town hall meeting, discussing how humans have labeled them into vicious, hilarious stereotypes. It is a monster comedy of a show! The production also features Halloween hits such as “The Monster Mash,” “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” among others.
