The director, David Christopher explains: “Two superb New York actors, bring this complex, sexy play to our stage brilliantly. Venus in Fur is perhaps the most challenging play I’ve ever directed, but with these two excellent actors it’s been an easy task. I believe the outcome will be quite astounding. I think of it as a Thinking Man’s 50 Shades of Grey (and is recommended for ages 16 and above).”

Tables are turned on a tough writer-director (Jeff Ronan, above) holding auditions for his new play, when a desperate, loud, clumsy actress (Christy Richardson, left) barges into the auditions and insists that she read for the role.
As they perform the script, she miraculously transforms into a sexy, dominating character, and the balance of power shifts as the actress establishes total dominance over the director.
