ART CLASSES FOR ALL AGES @ THE ZIMMERLI THIS FALL

FALL DRAWING CLASSES
Members registration now open; General registration opens August 3

WHERE: Zimmerli Art Museum, Hamilton & George Sts., New Brunswick

DRAWING CLUB FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Wednesdays / 4:15 to 5:45 pm

6-8 year olds and 9-14 year olds

September 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11, 18; December 2, 9

Children discover the secrets of drawing when they participate in the Zimmerli's Drawing Club. Aspiring artists learn drawing techniques, including pencil and charcoal, and such genres as still life and portraiture. The classes are led by professional educators Patricia Brace and Grace Jackson, who address the needs of both beginners and advanced students.

ZIMMERLI DRAWING SOCIETY FOR ADULTS
Saturdays / 12:30 to 2:30 pm

September 26, October 10 & 24, November 14 & 21, December 5

Each Drawing Society session is overseen by master artists Wes Sherman and Tom Rutledge. The museum provides drawing boards, live models at select sessions, and professional instruction; participants are asked to bring their own drawing pads, portable easels, and other materials suggested by the instructors. These sessions are for artists aged 18 and older. Space is limited to 16 participants.

Collaboration with Mason Gross Extension Division
ART-HAUS ACADEMY

The Zimmerli has partnered with Mason Gross Extension Division to provide an expanded selection of art-making classes. ART-haus Academy offers basic art courses that inspire creative evolutions. Each course focuses on specific skills and ideas that interweave in a mosaic of insights. Classes taking place at Mason Gross this fall include Art Making A-B-C, Basic Drawing and Painting, Intermediate Drawing and Painting, Advanced Drawing and Painting, and Painting 1A (collegiate level for precollege students.)
