A casual, outdoor evening filled with the finest bourbons and craftiest brews, the Bourbon & Biergarten will feature food samplings from over 25 local restaurants and food artisans. Attendees will receive a commemorative sampling glass. Beers and bourbons curated by Amanti Vino
NYC-based Street Beat Brass will be roving the Museum grounds and bringing a lively NOLA flavor to the experience. This brass-and-drums band stocked with Broadway regulars has toured internationally for the US State Department and was featured nationally in the NY Daily News. Influenced by the multiculturalism of NYC, they play a wild diversity of brass-based music from New Orleans Jazz to Polka, Mexican Banda, Caribbean, Gospel, Klezmer, and Funk. Its repertoire includes familiar tunes from each tradition's songbook arranged in an urban, energetic vibe.
