WHERE: Newark Museum, 49 Washington St., Newark The series examines how jewelry was transformed by the end of the 20th century from a marker of status into a self-conscious medium of artistic expression. This series and a Jewelry Discovery Day on June 27—hosted by Sarah Churgin of David Rago Auctions—are planned in conjunction with the opening of the Museum's reinstalled Lore Ross Jewelry Gallery.
