PatriciaTurseNEW DATE:

HARP RECITAL

WHEN: Sunday, January 25th at 2 PM. Doors open at 1:30 PM. The recital will be from 2 to 3 PM, followed by a reception.

The orchestra hopes to raise additional money for expenses such as renting rehearsal and performance space and for paying its professional conductor. The Metropolitan Orchestra of New Jersey, now enjoying rehearsal space at Chatham Middle School, is an all-volunteer group of about 50 to 60 musicians.

The orchestra is currently rehearsing under the baton of Michael Stratechuck for a concert featuring works of Nordic composers—Sibelius, Grieg, and Nielsen. This concert will be held at Chatham High School, 255 Lafayette Avenue, Chatham Township on March 15, 2015 at 3 PM. More information about the orchestra can be found at its website: http://www.metropolitanorchestra.org
