The Metropolitan Orchestra of New Jersey, now enjoying rehearsal space at Chatham Middle School, is an all-volunteer group of about 50 to 60 musicians.

The orchestra is currently rehearsing under the baton of Michael Stratechuck for a concert featuring works of Nordic composers—Sibelius, Grieg, and Nielsen. This concert will be held at Chatham High School, 255 Lafayette Avenue, Chatham Township on March 15, 2015 at 3 PM.

More information about the orchestra can be found at its website: http://www.metropolitanorchestra.org
