Centering around a group of teenagers at the turn of the 19th century, Spring Awakening is a poignant story about the struggles of children learning to shed their innocence, along with the consequences entailed of growing up. Filled with rock tunes and bubbly pop music alike, Spring Awakening is sure to leave audiences with a powerful reminder of the joys and tribulations that come with adolescence.

ADVISORY: In order to present its honest depiction of humanity and adolescence, this beautiful and inspiring show contains mature themes and strong language. Parental discretion is advised. (Note: The show, however, is moving, beautifu, and educational and more than the red flags it seems to produce out of context.)

Theatre in the Making is a comprehensive theatre experience for high school students in the tri-state area. Participants in the program gain experience in many aspects of theatrical production, including acting, singing, choreography, set/prop construction and tech/design. Participants not only learn the fundamentals but also begin to appreciate theatre as a machine of many parts. In addition, this program strengthens student learning in other areas such as problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and self-expression.

Last summer, we produced Jonathan Larson's RENT as our first annual show.
