The ceramics program at The Center for Contemporary Art has been growing rapidly since the purchase of the first kiln two years ago. In January the program was moved to a newly renovated studio and fully equipped space with eight wheels, an extruder and a custom-designed hand-building table. A second kiln was recently installed along with the area’s only a handicap-accessible wheel. The project was made possible thanks to funding from the Hyde and Watson Foundation along with very generous support of The Center’s ceramic students.

Classes in ceramics are offered for children and adults at all levels of expertise. Registration is underway for the summer session of classes and children’s week-long art camps. For further information or to register for a class, please visit The Center for Contemporary Art online at www.ccabedminster.org or call 908.234.2345.
