WHEN: Sunday, May 18, from 3-6 PM; Wednesday, May 21, from 7-9 PM; and Sunday, May 25, from 7-9 PM
WHERE: Bernards Township Community Center 289 South Maple Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ.
Needed for the cast are 4 men and 7 women.
Anyone 18 or older is eligible to audition.
All roles are available.
Auditions will consist of readings from the script. A copy of the script is available at the Bernards Township Library.
Performance dates are July 25, 26, 31 and Aug.1, 2, in the amphitheater at Pleasant Valley Park in Basking Ridge.
Play On! written by Rick Abbott is the hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from the author who keeps revising the script. Act I starts with a rehearsal of the dreadful show, then on to the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and then the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does.
